Our programme of showcase events runs throughout the year, providing Members and their guests with good food and entertainment.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Fitness Class & Society ‘Meet & Greet’
2 – 4 pm Saturday 22 May 2021
Members are invited to come down to the Club garden & boat hard, between 2 and 4 pm to meet our personal training team.
Please register your interest in attending the day here.
You will be able to learn more about joining the different classes and societies we are now running and even have a paddleboard taster session if you wish!
Joining us will be: Katherine Copeland (yoga), Toby Garbett (gym), Wendy Davies (Pilates), Mike Whitworth (cycling & open water swimming) and Andy Irving (paddle boarding)
Andy will be running mini paddle boarding taster sessions at 2, 3 & 4 pm on the day, which are bookable in advance. A maximum of 12 people can attend each session so please note that these are available to Members only, , on a first come, first served basis.

The whole event’s free to attend and you’ll be able to enjoy a glass of wine or soft drink on us too.
Leander Golf Day
Tuesday 8th June 2021 – FULLY BOOKED
The Leander Golf Day will take place at Huntercombe Golf Club on Tuesday 8th June 2021
The plan will be to convene at the Huntercombe Clubhouse at 12.30pm for a cold buffet lunch. You should be dressed in golfing attire.
Drinks at the bar and at the table are ‘over to you’.
We will tee off from 1.30pm, playing in three balls in a Stableford competition.
The cost for non-Huntercombe members will be £75 per player.

NAME THE HIPPO COMPETITION
THE AMAZING ARTIST MARK STODDART WHO CREATED THE FAMOUS HIPPO TABLE NEEDS HELP TO GIVE IT A NAME
He is inviting Members to help him.
Please submit suggestions to Max Watson by email to members.events@leander.co.uk – stating the Hippo’s name, the Member’s name & Membership number.
Entries close on Monday 31st May and the winner will be drawn from a hat as part of the June launch party celebrations.
The winning Member will receive an Amazon gift card to the value of £100 (or closest equivalent in local currency, depending their location).
