Come and join the Row Zambezi expedition club and celebration with a talk and buffet at Leander Club on Saturday 26 September, the eve of World Water Day.

Tim Cook, founder and legendary expedition leader of the Row Zambezi expeditions, will talk through the challenges, the ups and downs and the adventure of creating, running and leading rowing expeditions on some of the most extraordinary waterways in the world. Tim will cover what it’s like to take an idea from concept to reality, assembling highly international crews of Olympians to novice rowers, negotiating with tribal chiefs, kings, and Zambian politicians, raising more than $100,000 for clean water and conservation, and not to mention dodging hippos, crocodiles, rapids and so much more.

Tim will also talk about founding the charity RiverRoots, the mission-oriented safari company RowSafari and possibly what’s next for RowZambezi.

The evening is set to be a wonderful and memorable celebration of the community of adventure rowers who have taken part in RowZambezi expeditions.
