Could you contribute to the future of Leander?
Leander’s Directors play an important role in the stewardship of the Club. As well as attending Board meetings and contributing to decisions across all areas of Club life, Directors bring their own experience and judgement to help the Board provide effective oversight and support to the Club’s management.
As part of our forward succession planning, we are particularly interested in hearing from members with legal and Company Secretarial experience.
We would also be very pleased to hear from members with other skills or experience which they feel could be valuable to the Board, either now or in the future. Club Welfare Officer
We are also looking for a member who may be interested in taking on the role of Club Welfare Officer for our adult members, working alongside our existing junior welfare arrangement.
The role provides an important point of contact for members and helps the club maintain appropriate safeguarding and welfare arrangements. Relevant experience in safeguarding, welfare, HR, education, healthcare or a similar area would be particularly useful.
