Leander Club’s junior squad delivered strong performances at the GB U19 April Trials Regatta, showcasing the depth of talent and determination within the programme.
A standout moment came from Louis Sheasby, who produced an exceptional row to take victory in the JM1x. His composure and speed across the course marked him out as one of the top junior scullers in the country and a serious contender as the season builds.
We also extend huge congratulations to Alfie Webb, who claimed 2nd place in the B Final after committed and competitive racing. His progression and consistency areclear to see, and we’re excited to watch both athletes continue to develop as we head into the summer racing calendar.
These results reflect the hard work of our juniors and coaching team, and we look forward to following their progress through the upcoming regattas and selection opportunities.
