Leander scullers lead the way.
Wallingford Regatta at Dorney Lake was the venue for Leander’s first domestic regatta of the season. The Development squad attended in force, boating 15 crews for the 2000m race.
Testament to the successful sculling program that has been in place over many years at the club, Leander were victorious in the men’s, women’s and junior 4x as well as the women’s 2x.
The men’s eight won Challenge 8s in style while the women’s 4- looked impressive winning Challenge 4-.
Finally, to top off a great day March Turnball and Hylton Harvey showed grit and determination to win Challenge 2-.
