Preparations are already well under way for Henley Royal Regatta 2026, the highlight of our year at Leander Club. Following last year’s event, we were delighted to receive so much thoughtful and constructive feedback from Members. Your comments have helped shape our plans for 2026 as we continue to refine the balance between preserving the unique Leander atmosphere during Regatta week and generating the income that enables us to support our athletes on their journey to Olympic and international success.
Our overriding objective is to ensure that, as much as possible, Leander remains accessible to Members and their guests throughout the week. To do this, we are exploring some measured adjustments to help reduce the total number of tickets in circulation and better manage capacity on site.
Key updates for 2026
Badge Packs: Each Member will now recieve two guest badges for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and one guest badge for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Guest Badges: Additional guest badges will now be charged separately and will no longer be included free of charge with meal ticket bookings. This change is designed to help us better control overall numbers while still allowing Members to host guests throughout the week.
These changes are intended to ensure that Members can continue to enjoy the Club comfortably during the busiest days of the Regatta, with easier access to dining, bars and terrace areas. We are confident that these refinements will create a more enjoyable experience for everyone attending, while also helping us sustain the vital funding that underpins Leander’s role in developing the next generation of Olympians.
