FAQs

TICKET SALES

Meal tickets and boat tickets will go on sale from Monday 22nd April, exclusively via our TicketTailor page. Only Members may purchase these and you will need your membership number to complete the transaction.  You will receive an email confirmation but no physical ticket.

GUEST PASSES FOR MEAL BOOKINGS

You will have received two guest passes per day. If you have booked meals for a group of more than three people (your metal badge plus two guest passes) please collect your extra complimentary guest passes from the Badge Tent on arrival.

PURCHASING ADDITIONAL BADGES

New rules around additional guest passes

We have meticulously reviewed your feedback and as a result, are implementing refined guest badge protocols to ensure the club’s ambiance remains uncompromised during HRR.

The rules around additional guest passes have changed as follows. A limited number of supplementary guest passes will be made available for purchase. Each Member will be entitled to secure up to eight additional passes per day, purchasable online prior to HRR. A small number of additional passes may be available for acquisition at the Badge Tent on the day itself, subject to availability.

It is imperative to note that guests using these supplementary passes may, during peak periods, be required to observe a queuing system at the river gate, adhering to a “one in, one out” protocol. This is a necessary stipulation, ensuring the continued exclusivity of the club’s environment.

Additional guest passes cost £20.

COLLECTIONS

Members only may leave Leander passes for their guests to collect at the Badge Tent. Badges must be placed in named envelopes with the recipients’ name clearly visible. Items will only be given to the named person and proof of identity will be required.

This is not a secure service so we are not permitted to take any other items for collection, for example HRR Stewards badges. These must be left at HRR’s secure collection point.

CORPORATE BOOKINGS

We offer a very small number of bespoke corporate bookings. Please contact regatta@leander.co.uk to discuss your requirements.

CLUB OPENING TIMES DURING HRR

Tues-Weds: 8am – 11pm

Thurs: 8am-12pm

Fri-Sat: 8am – 1am

Sun: 8am – 12pm

DRESS CODE

All Members are asked to remind their guests that the dress code for Regatta is very traditional. These dress codes apply to everyone and no exceptions are made.

The Leander Dress Code during the Regatta is the same as the Dress Code for the Stewards’ Enclosure.

Gentlemen are required to wear lounge suits, or jackets or blazers with trousers, together with a tie or, if preferred, a cravat.

Ladies are required to wear dresses or skirts, with a hemline below the knee, or jackets or blazers with trousers, or trouser suits.

No one will be admitted to Leander or the Stewards’ Enclosure wearing shorts, leggings, tracksuits or jeans.

Children – Children over the age of 10 are welcomed provided they comply with the adult dress code. Younger children and babies will not be allowed entry before the end of racing on Sunday.

CLOAKROOM

For security reasons, large bags may not be brought into the Club during Regatta, unless you are a resident. Coats, hats and umbrellas may be left in our cloakroom, for a small fee.

LOST PROPERTY

Lost and found items should be reported to the Cloakroom. Found items will be kept for one month.

TRAVEL

CAR PARKING

The Club car park is not available for Members throughout regatta week as it is allocated for competitors. The car park is therefore closed to Members from Monday – Sunday inclusive.

Members must make their own parking arrangements during HRR.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Leander Club is a short walk over the bridge from Henley town centre. Traffic during the regatta is very busy so we encourage visitors to travel by public transport where possible.

The train station is a 10-minute walk from the club.

There is a taxi rank in the centre of town, on Bell Street. Cars are unable to drive directly to the entrance during Regatta Week so it is advisable for you to be dropped off in town and walk from there.
