Cambridge & Russia online event

The University of Cambridge Alumni Association of Russia and the Russian Rowing Federation, cordially invite Members to an international rowing panel event. The event aims to support international rowing and to share ideas

Our plan is as follows:

• An open round-up discussion of the recent Tokyo Olympics challenges and successes during Covid-19. Addressing plans for Paris 2024.
• To discuss ways in which rowing and sport, in general, can support athletes in gaining vital post-career professional skills and education.
• An open Q&A session to conclude proceedings

Guests will include:

  • Aleksey Svirin (President of the Russian Rowing Federation and 2004 Olympic Gold Medallist)
  • Anton Zarutskiy (Vice President of the Russian Rowing Federation and 2016 Rio Olympian)

  • Andrey Potapkin (2021 Tokyo Double Sculls)
  • Hanna Prakaten (2021 Tokyo Silver Medallist Single Sculls)
  • Giovani Postiglione (Head Russian Olympic Coach)
