House of Commons
Thursday 7 June 2018
Thanks to the kind permission of The Lord Colin Moynihan of Leeds, Leander members and their guests may enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace of the House of Commons on Thursday 7 June from 4 pm until 6 pm. The cost of afternoon tea and a glass of fizz is £50 a head.
After tea we shall process over Westminster Bridge to the Fountain Garden at St Thomas’ Hospital, where we shall unveil a memorial slab, privately funded by a group of Leander members, to mark the site of Searle’s boathouse, where Leander Club was founded in 1818.
