Thanks to the kind permission of The Lord Colin Moynihan of Leeds, Leander Club Members and their guests may enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace of the House of Commons on Thursday 7th June 2018 from 4 pm until 6 pm.
From this vantage point, you will be able to look over the river to the site of Searle’s Boatyard, where Leander was founded in 1818. The cost of afternoon tea and a glass of fizz is £50 a head.
Members are most welcome to bring spouses or partners
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR VISIT
Access to the House of Commons is tightly controlled. Approved guests will be required to bring their invitation, separate photo ID, such as passport or driving licence. They are required to pass through an airport-style search point at the Cromwell Gardens entrance to the Palace where they will be issued with a security pass. Twenty minutes should be allowed for entry clearance and a further 10 minutes to walk to the terrace. Entry to the terrace cannot take place before 4 pm.

Successful applicants will be sent formal invitation cards which must be presented at the point of entry.
These invitations are not transferable.
