Since rowing was introduced as an Olympic sport, Leander Club's athletes have won 99 medals - more than any other single-sport club in the world.
Some of the Club's World and Olympic champions include household names such as Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Matthew Pinsent, Steve Williams OBE and James Cracknell MBE.
But it is tomorrow's champions, who are training with the Leander Academy, for whom we invite you to Join Leander's Journey over the coming months, through to the 2016 Olympics and beyond.
The Leander Academy delivers world-class athletes for Team GB, developing young, high potential oarsmen and women. Of more than 70 athletes in training, almost half are currently in the GB squad, while the remainder - tomorrow's rising stars - continue to receive world-class coaching, excellent equipment, subsidised meals, dormitory accommodation when necessary and the support of professional teams in areas such as physiotherapy, massage and nutrition.
