The Double Decker
The spacious ‘Upper Marquee Restaurant’ is set aside for Members Luncheons and Afternoon Teas. There is natural light from windows all around with views over Henley and the Marquee is fully air-conditioned, so regardless of the weather it should always feel pleasant. There is a mix of round tables of 10 and separate tables for groups of 4 or more - couples may need to share.
On the ground level there is the enlarged area for the ‘Riverside Bar and Café’ , the Pink Hippo Shop, ‘The Olympians Suite’ , extra Ladies Toilets and increased outside seating.
Wheelchair access - you may book on any day in the Clubhouse which has a lift and disabled facilities. On both Saturday and Sunday you may book places for the entire day in ‘The Olympians Suite’ on the ground floor of the Marquee and use the facilities in the Clubhouse.
MEMBERS RESERVATION INFORMATION
Please remember to enclose a (large first class stamped) self-addressed envelope for the return of your order. Bookings are taken strictly in order of receipt and ‘Waitlists’ run in all areas on the same basis. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment may be made by Personal Cheque or Visa/MasterCard.
BOOKINGS AND REFUNDS
Late bookings (received after 25th June) will not be posted but made ready for collection at the Badge Tent. The office will notify you if the places you require are already fully booked and will offer you available alternatives. No refunds can be made after 27th June and the Club cannot accept responsibility for the re-sale of meal tickets or badges.
BADGES
Members will find enclosed their Members Badge and two Guest Badges for each day. For every Lunch, Tea or Dinner booked, additional badges over and above this allocation will be complimentary. Widows and Spouse Members will receive a Members Badge and may purchase further guest badges. To assist Security, Members and their Guests are reminded that they must wear their badges so that they can be clearly seen. Members are entirely responsible for their guests at all times. The Club has the right to refuse admission at either gate if it is felt that an overcrowding situation could occur. Badges are strictly not for re-sale.
MOBILE PHONES
Mobile phones must be switched off whilst in the Clubhouse or grounds.
CHILDREN
Children under the age of TEN cannot be admitted into the Clubhouse or grounds for safety reasons.
