The Club has the right to refuse admission at either gate if it is felt that the clubhouse and grounds risk overcrowding. Badges are strictly not for re-sale.

OVERSEAS MEMBERS

Members paying the overseas subscription who wish to attend Regatta are required to upgrade to the full rate by notifying the club by fax or e-mail to cheryl@leander.co.uk  giving payment details. The badge pack will then be available for collection on arrival. Overseas members’ wishing to make reservations for any meals should fax or e-mail their order, giving payment details. The meal tickets will be held with the badge pack at the badge tent.

Please contact regatta@leander.co.uk  for availability, details and prices of meals after March 2011. Overseas members’ who already pay the full subscription will be able to collect their badges from the office or badge tent. It would be helpful if you notified Cheryl of your attendance so that everything will be in place

CLUBHOUSE LUNCHEON

Luncheon

The air conditioned clubhouse has always been a very special place to have luncheon or tea at the Regatta.

Seating is in small table groups and service starts at noon for a multi-choice restaurant style menu.

CLUBHOUSE TEA

Afternoon tea (waitress service) will be served in the Dining Room.

Places can be reserved by applying before Regatta so that a table plan can be drawn up to accommodate varying sized parties to a maximum of 70 people. There will be a variety of sandwiches, scones, cakes and fresh strawberries and cream.

CLUBHOUSE DINNER

Dinner is increasingly popular with those wishing to avoid the traffic jams and spend a relaxing time with friends enjoying a special 3-course dinner which is served from 7.30pm with last orders at 8.30pm.

THE MARQUEE AND RIVERSIDE PAVILION

The air conditioned marquee has always been a very special place to have lunch or tea at the regatta.

THE MARQUEE LUNCHEON

The marquee restaurant offers a three course meal with a hot and cold choice of main course and a vegetarian meal from noon. For 2011 the menu will change daily and details of the daily menus will be enclosed in members information packs. Seating is on tables of ten and members with smaller par ties will be expected to share. To speed up wine service a pre-order desk will be open daily between 9.00am and noon so that Members’ wines can be served as soon as they take their places.

MARQUEE TEA

Afternoon tea will ber served in the marquee restaurant. There will be a variety of sandwiches, scones, cakes and fresh strawberries and cream. Doors will open at 4pm and close at 6pm on each day. Admittance is by ticket only and on shared tables. It is regrettably not possible to reserve tables.

THE RIVERSIDE BAR

The new members’ Riverside Bar and terrace were extremely popular in 2010 and we are building on this success in 2011. The bar is open 11am until 11pm (midnight on Saturday) and will be serving coffee, sandwiches and light snacks from 10am to 10pm daily. In addition we will be providing a hot bar food service in the evening from 6pm until 10pm. regrettably, we cannot take reservations for this ser vice. The Riverside Bar is fast becoming ‘the place to be’ after racing each day.

PINK HIPPO SHOP

During Regatta an extended shop will be situated by the main entrance to the club. Opening hours are from 10am to 7pm and until 8pm on the Friday and Saturday.
